Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the new Jawa 42 FJ in the Indian market. It has been given a new design from the rest of the Jawa 42 bikes but its side panel has been kept the same like the other Jawa 42 bikes. The bike has been launched with 6 color options. All colors have been introduced at different prices.

New Jawa 42 FJ: Design
Jawa 42 FJ has been given a modern retro theme. It is provided with a tear drop shaped fuel tank with an aluminum plate on the side. Its side panel is given the same as the other Jawa 42. Its fenders have been styled quite neatly. In which the Jawa tail light is protruding outside the rear fender. It has a new single-piece tee and single-piece handlebar. Diamond-cut alloy wheels have been provided in the bike. It also has split grab rail and upswept twin exhaust in bits. It has been brought in five color options.
New Jawa 42 FJ: Features
The multi-spoke alloy wheels, blacked-out engine and upswept exhaust pipe on the Jawa 42 FJ add sporty quotient to the bike. Wire-spoke wheel is given in its base model. The bike is equipped with features like all-LED lights, digital instrument cluster (with Bluetooth connectivity), offset speedometer, assist and slipper clutch. Apart from this, USB charging port and single-pod is also provided in the bike.
New Jawa 42 FJ: Brakes
Steel chassis has been used in the bike. It is suspended through 41mm telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. For braking, the bike has a 320mm disc brake at the front and disc brake at the rear. It is equipped with dual-channel ABS as standard.
New Jawa 42 FJ: Engine
The new Jawa 42FJ is powered by a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which is also used in the Jawa 350. This engine generates 29bhp and peak torque of 29.6Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch.

The new Jawa 42 FJ has been launched in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,99,142. It has been launched in 6 color options, which are Deep Black Matte Red Clad, Deep Black Matte Black Clad, Cosmo Blue Matte, Mystic Copper, Aurora Green Matte and Aurora Green Matte Spoke.
