Bihar Sampark Kranti Express Divided Into Two Parts

Action in case of bifurcation of Sampark Kranti into two parts, Senior Section Engineer and MCM suspended

Bihar Sampark Kranti Express: Two people including senior section engineer have been suspended in connection with the division of Sampark Kranti into two parts. An investigation team has also been formed, which will investigate the matter.

Due to negligence in the case of bihar Sampark Kranti being divided into two parts going from Darbhanga to New Delhi in Samastipur on Monday, the guilty Senior Section Engineer and MCM working in Darbhanga have been suspended with immediate effect. A high level investigation team was formed to investigate the entire matter.

 The loco pilot immediately stopped the train by applying emergency brakes.

last Monday, Bihar Sampark Kranti Express train going from Darbhanga to New Delhi was divided into two parts. However, there was no loss of life or property in the incident. The incident took place near Khudiram Bose Pusa station of Samastipur-Muzaffarpur railway section of East Central Railway. Regarding the incident, it is said that 12565 Bihar Sampark Kranti Express train was going from Darbhanga to New Delhi. Meanwhile, the coupling of the train broke near Khudiram Bose Pusa railway station.

After this, the engine of the train moved ahead with a bogie.  The remaining coach was left behind along with the guard coach. The train moved forward by more than 100 metres.  After the incident, when the loco pilot of the train looked, he saw that the coach of the train was lagging behind the bogie after the engine and the engine was going ahead. The loco pilot immediately applied emergency brakes and stopped the engine and informed the railway department along with the local station about the incident.

After hard work, the separated engine of the train was reunited.

After receiving the information, personnel and officers of Samastipur and Sonpur Railway Division reached the spot.  Where after hard work they were successful in connecting the parts of the separated engine and bogie of the train.  After this, the train was sent forward after about one and a half hour.  During this period, train operations on the Samastipur-Darbhanga railway section remained disrupted till around 11:30 pm.  The train reached Muzaffarpur station four hours late.

 Here, DRM Vinay Srivastava said that an investigation team has been formed for a high-level investigation of the case. In this case, Senior Section Engineer and MCM have been suspended with immediate effect. Further action will be taken after the investigation report comes.
